CHOCOLATE HAYSTACK COOKIES

1 (3 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips15 oz. can Eagle brand milk1 1/2 c. shredded coconut2 c. chopped walnuts1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate chips in double boiler and melt over boiling water. Stir in milk and cook until thick about 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in coconut, nuts and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.

Chow mein noodles make this recipe novel and even more fun for kids. A great rainy day idea for a bored and hungry bunch.

HAYSTACK COOKIES

12 oz. chow mein noodles1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips1 (12 oz.) butterscotch chips1 c. peanuts

Melt together chips in double boiler. Add noodles and peanuts. Drop onto wax paper.
